Sara: Fun in the Studio!

Today I had some great time in the studio with a friend of mine - Sara. Sara is a photographer, and we first met in a photojournalism class over a year ago. Since then we had a few classes together, and I've come to learn that Sara is a super fun and really talented person. For our shoot she brought in a whole bunch of different outfits, including a firefighter's uniform! I loved every minute of the photo shoot - so much fun!

I bet that any firefighter would love to have a girl like that in their crew!

I love the boots!

Time to be a little girly :)

Winter outfits are some of my favorites! So warm and cozy...

Thanks Sara, I had a lot of fun with you today!

* Let it snow *

A phone call woke me up on Saturday after Thanksgiving at 8 am. It was my sister-in-law calling to tell me that I should really get up and look outside. I knew exactly what was going on :) Beautiful snowflakes were falling down outside the window of our bedroom in Big Bear. I grew up in snow, and now living in LA, I really miss having it around. So I got up, got ready and went outside to have fun!

Our car is not really used to snow... but I thought it looked cute in it :)

My wonderful father-in-law

Greg cleaning out the car to go out to town and get some chains. We never got them though, all stores were out of chains...

playing with the snow :)

Mini snow-man!

On the drive to town I did some drive-by shooting

We stopped on the North Shore to capture the beauty of Big bear in the winter time

That place is gorgeous!

Greg forgot his hat, cause we didn't really expect snow...

Big Bear Lake

I asked to be dropped off at the boardwalk to enjoy the snow and take some more photos - it was so much fun!

Ha!

My sweetie and me

Poor doggy was running around in the snow all alone...

On our way down the mountain we had to stop a few times to take photos. It was a beautiful but scary drive!

These were taken when we got down the mountain, so I caught two seasons in one photo!

Yup. Winter is beautiful!
