Senior Portraits

Today I had one of the most fun classes ever! 5 photographers and 6 models were all working on super fun senior portraits under the guidance of Jen O'Sullivan. It was great and I met a lot of new amazing people :) Not to mention the location was absolutely beautiful - Mentryville Park in Newhall, CA. Here are some of the shots I got!

Chris was my first model. I absolutely fell in love with his hair!! :)

"Growing Up Fresh!"

A friend of mine recently asked me to take some photos for the "Growing Up Fresh" event. "Growing Up Fresh" is one of the "Kids In The Kitchen" events that will be hosted next month by the Junior League of Los Angeles (JLLA) and Meet Each Need with Dignity (MEND) here in the valley. The goal of this event is to help fight childhood obesity by introducing healthy foods to children and their parents. Volunteers from JLLA and MEND will be teaching kids from poverty-level families about the nutrition and healthy lifestyle, and demonstrating to the parents how they can make delicious and affordable meals. One of the places that can be a great source for fresh and inexpensive nutritious foods is your local farmers' market! That was exactly the place we headed to on a beautiful Sunday morning to take some photos of fresh fruits and vegetables!
